01
Purpose
Elements of Art & Design is a free educational publication intended to help readers observe, compare, describe, and experiment with visual relationships. It provides general educational and informational material, not individualized professional, legal, financial, or other specialist advice.
02
Ordinary educational use
You may view, link to, cite, and make ordinary personal or educational use of the site. Teachers and learners may discuss the material and use brief excerpts or limited examples where permitted by applicable law, with appropriate attribution.
These terms do not restrict fair use, fair dealing, public-domain use, licensed use, or other rights available under applicable law. They do not grant permission to republish the site substantially, remove credits, misrepresent authorship, or sell the original publication materials as your own.
03
Original publication material
Except where a different source, creator, license, or rights statement is identified, the original writing, diagrams, interactive teaching models, visual system, and site design are publication materials of Brandion LLC.
Specific permissions beyond ordinary use may be requested through the Contact form. No permission is implied merely because material can be downloaded, copied, or viewed in a browser.
04
Third-party works and rights
Artworks, museum images, historical objects, quotations, names, trademarks, and other third-party material remain subject to the rights, licenses, credits, and restrictions identified by their creators, institutions, or rights holders.
Their educational inclusion does not transfer ownership to Elements of Art & Design, Neura Collective, or Brandion LLC. A work identified as public domain or open access should be used according to the source record and any applicable terms.
05
Accuracy and corrections
The publication aims for clear, well-researched, and verifiable educational content. Art, design, historical, rights, and external-source information can change or contain errors, and terminology may vary among fields and institutions.
No promise is made that every page will always be complete, current, or error-free. Documented corrections are welcomed and will be considered in good faith.
06
External links
Links to museums, archives, resources, products, and related projects are provided for reference or convenience. An external link does not place that site under this publication’s control or guarantee that its content, availability, accessibility, privacy practices, or terms will remain unchanged.
Use an external resource according to its own terms and your own judgment.
07
Future commercial or affiliate material
The blog may later include reviews, recommended books, art and design tools, Get Digital Products publications, advertising, or affiliate links. When a material commercial or affiliate relationship applies, it should be disclosed with the relevant content.
A future commercial relationship does not make the recommendation independent of editorial judgment, and no affiliate or advertising program should be understood as active unless the site identifies it as active.
08
Availability and responsibility
The site may be corrected, revised, reorganized, interrupted, or discontinued. Use of the site and reliance on its general educational material are at the visitor’s discretion.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the publication and its publisher are not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on general site information, unavailable third-party resources, or a visitor’s use of an external site. Nothing here excludes a responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
09
Changes and contact
These terms may be revised as the publication, its features, or applicable requirements change. The date above identifies the latest published revision.
